Summer Colors

My late father, a veteran of World War 2, was foremost in my mind when I painted this several years ago. Without fail, he hung a US flag every "flag holiday" including 4th July, Flag Day, Veteran's Day, Voting Day and, of course, during every Penn State football game day.
I think I've seen this painting - one of my favorite! What a treat to open your blog and see it here. L.
